What is the difference between Shotgun, Sandbagger and Mulligan?
They are GolfTracker's three products, built on one scoring engine. Shotgun is golf tournament software for charity, corporate and club events: registration, payments, sponsors, check-in, live scoring and the books. Sandbagger is a golf trip app for a group of 4 to 48 golfers playing several rounds: Ryder Cup teams, match play and one leaderboard all weekend. Mulligan is a free golf score tracker for your own rounds and your regular group.
Which GolfTracker product should I use?
Use Shotgun if you are running an event with registration, sponsors or a committee. Use Sandbagger if the same group is playing more than one round together, like a buddies trip or a Ryder Cup weekend. Use Mulligan to keep score for yourself and the people you play with every week.
What does GolfTracker cost?
Shotgun starts on a free plan, with paid plans for bigger events and a white-label option. Sandbagger is free for up to 4 players and 1 round; bigger trips are one-time for the whole group: $9.99 up to 8 players, $29.99 up to 16, $99.99 up to 48 — unlimited rounds. Mulligan is free, and golfers never pay.
Do Sandbagger and Mulligan use the same account?
Yes. Both use one golfer account: confirm your email once with a link we send, then sign in with your email and a password. That one account covers your trips and your own rounds.
Why are they called Shotgun, Sandbagger and Mulligan?
A shotgun start sends every group off at once, which is what Shotgun does for a tournament's registration, sponsors, scoring and payout. A sandbagger is the friend whose handicap is suspiciously high; Sandbagger keeps the handicaps honest and the whole trip on one board. A mulligan is the do-over you take on the first tee; Mulligan remembers every round, even the ones you would take back.
Is GolfTracker on iPhone and Android?
Yes. The GolfTracker app is on the App Store and Google Play, and every product also works on the web.
